Home Carpet One Of Lakeview Celebrates 40th Anniversary With Sales Throughout The Year

Chicago, IL (March 19, 2010) – Lakeview's Home Carpet One has been doing business since 1970 and wants to celebrate. On May 22nd, Home Carpet One will be throwing themselves a 40th Birthday Party, where instead of receiving gifts they will be giving them.

It is quite clear to understand how Home Carpet One has been in business for 40-years. “Excellent service; I would recommend Home Carpet One to my friends,” says one Internet review. Another states, “Great job and service. We'll be back.” “Friendly and consistent service,” a pleased customer expresses. It is easy to see customers, new and old, are giving positive feedback.

When looking at Home Carpet One over the last 40-years, one can see they have a lot to celebrate. The store has occupied the same Lakeview location at 3071 N. Lincoln Ave. and has expanded from one building to four. Starting the business with only two employees, the retailer has grown to 35, with one-third of the staff having worked there 15-years or more. Anyone would be impressed looking at the Home Carpet One showroom, which now covers an expansive 10,000 sf, to find out it began at a modest 2,500 sf.

While the sales are a way of promoting the 40th anniversary, they are also taking place in order for Home Carpet One to thank their customers for the business and support over the last 40-years, as well as driving new customers into the store. Bruce, a Home Carpet One employee for 25-years states, “I appreciate the opportunity to share this terrific offer with our long term friends and customers and the many new neighbors we will meet.” The retailer has the widest selection of tile, natural stone, hardwoods, bamboo, cork and more in Chicago. Home Carpet One promotes their “Beautiful Guarantee” where on the majority of products they sell, if the customer is not happy with their flooring selection, they will take it out and replace it at no charge.

Home Carpet One has been a family owned business since 1970 and joined Carpet One in 1987.
