Home Carpet One $3,000 rug giveaway - official rules

Eligibility
This giveaway/sweepstakes ("Giveaway") is open to legal residents of the City of Chicago, Illinois who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
Employees, officers, and directors of Home Carpet One and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising or promotional agencies, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their spouses) and household members, are not eligible to enter.
Void where prohibited by law.
Giveaway period
The Giveaway starts on June 11, 2026 and ends on July 7, 2026, at 11:59 PM CT (the "Giveaway Period").
Entry
To enter the Giveaway, participants must complete the official entry form with a valid email address and all required information during the Giveaway Period.
Limit one entry per person and per email address. Entries that are incomplete, duplicate, or submitted by automated means will be disqualified.
Bonus entry
Entrants who book and complete a confirmed design consultation with Home Carpet One during the Giveaway Period will receive one additional entry, for a total of two.
Limit one bonus entry per person. The bonus entry is awarded only upon a confirmed, attended consultation.
Selection of winner
One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. The drawing will be held on or around July 8, 2026, within a reasonable timeframe after the Giveaway Period ends.
Prize
One (1) winner will receive one in-stock rug selected from Home Carpet One's available showroom collection, up to $3,000 USD in retail value, including free delivery within the City of Chicago.
The winner selects from in-stock styles available at the time the prize is claimed.
Prize is non-transferable, non-assignable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Any retail value above $3,000 is the winner's responsibility.
Prize delivery
The winner will be notified by email within 48 hours of the drawing date.
The winner will be required to provide a valid Chicago shipping address to claim the prize, and may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release.
The winner must respond within 5 business days to claim the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, or is found ineligible, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected at random.
Delivery will be scheduled within a reasonable timeframe after winner confirmation.

Home Carpet One reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway, or any part of it, without notice, for any reason in its sole discretion.
Home Carpet One is not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, invalid, or misdirected entries, or for technical failures of any kind.
The winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize. Prizes valued at $600 or more may be reported to tax authorities and may require a completed W-9.
Acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner's permission for Home Carpet One to use their name, likeness, and photograph for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Marketing email and text consent is optional and is not required to enter or win.
This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Meta, Instagram, Google, or Shopify.

Dispute resolution
This Giveaway will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Giveaway will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Cook County, Illinois, USA.
